In response to - 6 B - Blogs - The key to a valuable link on a blog long term is to help add value through building links to the archived page that hosts your links. Sure, if someone writes a post about you, it only stays on the homepage until the new log posts push it onto the next page... however, the new post comes with an archived page. If your links don`t get spidered while still on the HP OR, if they do, but start to lose value after time, why not build links to the archived page to ensure continued search engine visibility and anchor text support? I`ve been doing this for years for my clients and I always get results!

The blog comment point you laid out rings true. This is why I feel keeping engaged with community on a regular basis is the key. i have a post about Proven Spam Free Blog Comment Link Building Strategy that speaks to this, and I would appreciate some feed back!
