I have contemplated not posting this, but after much thought, I figure why not warn the people that are not reading my blog.
This is not the answer to building quality links, Links Bulletin. It even goes against traditional services marketing. This illustrates a concept I learned in the college of business at UCF: a classic service provider gap “Not matching performance to promises.”
Link building is not easy, trust me I have built links for three years and have fallen into my own grave in some circumstances and will be pulling myself out of that deep hole for some time to come.
Market yourself to the people and websites that are important in your given industry.
Build relationships to build links, you are who you link to, but if you are not very outgoing or just don’t want to do the work, then build good content or offer something quirky or unique, both will get you links.
Oh, and by the way, if you build good content, you will do better in SERPs, and isn’t that the reason you started building links in the first place?
And if you are still feeling like you need to build links and don’t want to do the work, hire someone that will! Look at Eric Ward or Alliance Link.
