No Fake Post Here - Google gets Giddy over Reader

Well, it’s been a long, sorted weekend of sorts (fake post) and Google is back to basics, fluffing another great achievement of sorts, the new Reader platform is great. Google is graciously accepting this achievement with additional information for those of us who are ready and willing to hear.

Refreshing: We’ve added a small “Refresh” link at the bottom of the list of subscriptions, so you can easily refresh them to see if there are new items. Better yet, they will automatically refresh every few minutes, so you shouldn’t even have to click the link. When an unread count has changed, it will flash yellow for a split-second to help you find it.

So, you can skip the removed “fake posts” and not even know they are gone!

Really, the new Google Reader takes the Personalized Home Page a step further, for those of us who know that the zany little extras are available and are no longer amused.

Kudos to you Google Engineers, bringing life to those needed service that we had to pay (second-rate) third parties to bring us!
