Google announced today on the Official Google Blog that Blog Search (still in beta) will be offering individual bloggers the ability to inform Google directly when content is added or changed in the blog realm.
Here is where you submit your blog address. You can automate this process with the Blog Search Ping API.
Great news for new bloggers trying to get their name (and blog) out in front of others.
