Back in October, Yahoo! announced that by the end of 2009 Search Submit Pro’s Paid Inclusion would be discontinued causing some alarm by sites using the service and many of us in the search industry wondered how it would impact the search results.
Those of us that managed SSP feeds wondered what would happen after the announcement of the search agreement between Microsoft and Yahoo in July that was finalized last month.
Well, it did not end on December 31st, however, it actually gave up the ghost earlier this week. I will be analyzing the impact of the change from a ranking perspective for my clients, so if you are seeing major changes with Yahoo! rankings it might be SSP. The other interesting game changer will come when Bing starts delivering Yahoo’s results.
Have you seen any changes with Yahoo rankings? Feel free to share.

As far I think, Its a good improvement may be, at least for me. I am getting better search results from yahoo now a days then before
This is a strange thing to happen. Last year they shut down the geocities part. And now at the start of the year they are closing down the Paid Inclusions. This paid inclusions closure is good for the community as a whole but from the perspective of Yahoo what does this signify? – Is Yahoo planning to close down? We all know that Microsoft’s been eyeing on purchasing Yahoo. Any plans behind the curtains?
