Terry,
Thanks for the comment.

No doubt about it, Yahoo is hedging it's bets on the socialization of the Internet!

But the question is, will they be able to get these integrated in time or just loose them like blo.gs?

Obviously, Yahoo has a smart eye on emerging trends and has the cash to place good bets.

As for Deb above, traffic numbers and their actions can tell you much in a short amount of time. Some people are put off by what they see as a dumb decision when internal numbers are saying that the dumb decision would be to continue on the current path.

Businesses as large as Yahoo generally do not make such decisions on a whim. They also generally do not telepath their future actions. Unfortunately, this business practice leaves people like Deb with a bitter attitude about the business.

You win some, you lose some.

Why? What's the point Yahoo? You had a good thing with 360. I love my 360, as do all of my friends. But you decided to take it away from us and replace it with only God knows what. Instead of getting into a gazillion things and doing a half ass job at them, why don't you hang on to what you do have and work to improve it. Don't do any more new things. People are sick of it.
